Why do I love natural deodorant so much? For MANY reasons. First, they do not contain aluminum, parabens, fragrances, or many of the other nasty ingredients that cheaper deodorants are chalk full of. Second, they are GOOD for your skin and for your health. There have been studies that have also linked breast cancer and unnatural, store-bought deodorants. If you read studies on the link between breast cancer and deodorant application, many cite that the presence of aluminum in deodorant may have a link to breast cancer cell growth and development, but others state there is no relationship. Personally, I don’t understand how studies can confirm whether there is a clear link or not considering you can’t take people without cancer, make them use deodorant for a long period of time and then wait to see if they develop cancer; so it makes sense why studies say there is ‘no clear relationship; how would you even measure it!? If we know what ingredients exist in store-bought deodorant and we know what those ingredients do to our bodies and our skin, then why continue to use them?
More companies are starting to understand this and are beginning to make products with much healthier and more natural ingredients, SoulDeo being one of them.
I also love the ingredients natural deodorants are made with. You can actually pronounce the names of the ingredients and you can easily look up the benefits and where they are derived from.
I would much rather pay a little extra to get a product that is much healthier, smoother, and overall better for my skin. On that note, let’s talk about SoulDeo!

Each deodorant smelled absolutely AMAZING! I’m really not just saying that, each scent smells extremely distinct to what it should smell like. The textures are thick and smooth, almost like a creamy butter but without being too thick. I love the different scents and the combinations together, making the most delicious and yummy scent combos. I also still was able to notice a slight scent in the coconut and shea deodorant, so I wouldn’t even call it unscented!
I am extremely comfortable paying a little more money for a natural deodorant with no bad ingredients, or added toxins and chemicals that will harm my skin while supporting a small business in the process. I have been using natural deodorant for almost a year now (without looking back) and have noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin under my armpit. I have noticed that many natural deodorants tend not to last as long as store-bought deodorants but I’m very pleasantly surprised with how many companies are beginning to notice this and changing their formulas.
