Complete Pampering Essentials: Body, Face, Hair & Wellness

When Southern Ontario sees the biggest snow storm of the year, I stay in and bring out all of the beauty essentials, and pamper the hell out of myself. Why? Because it’s well deserved, and that goes for anyone. Taking that time, whether its an hour, a few hours, or even 30 minutes to satisfy your skincare routine and to make you feel that much calmer is ALWAYS worth it.

Here are my beauty essentials:

Body Essentials

It doesn’t take a lot of products to achieve the soft skin you’ve been vying after. My body cleansing routine is quite simple, given it changes depending on what I feel like using when showering but it mostly comprises of two products.

Arbonne FC5 Invigorating Body Cleanser

Hydrating as it cleanses, this enriched formula inspires the vibrant appearance and provides the soft feeling of youthful-looking skin. With strawberry cell extracts and Moisture Fresh Complex.

This body cleanser is so wonderful because it only has a few ingredients- and they are mostly fruits! So naturally smelling and hydrating, my skin always feels vibrant and soft after I use this cleanser.

MELABATH Eucalyptus Scrub

I was just introduced to these products (Read about it here) and to be honest I was resistant to body scrubs before trying this, because I saw them as a waste of money when I could just be using a body wash. I was proven wrong with this scrub; after using a cleanser (Arbonne Body Cleanser in my case), I use this to remove excess dirt, old skin, and to make my skin feel unBELIEVABLY soft. It can also be used on your face, which I use every time I shower on my face and body. Did I mention it smells amazing?

Face Essentials

Lyeska Facial Cleanser

Our gentle facial cleanser combines the restorative properties of Siberian cedar nut oil with a beneficial blend of apple, burdock root and calendula to cleanse your skin without stripping away its natural oils, promoting anti-inflammatory, healing and soothing benefits and leaving your skin clean, soft and radiant.

This cleanser is quite pricey ($38.00) but I was lucky enough to receive it in a subscription box. I definitely have been using way too much of it at once, but it is one of my favourite cleansers I’ve ever used. It really does smell like apple wood and cedar nut. I don’t know about you, but I have recently been able to tell the difference between store bought and natural/organic cleansers. There’s just something about the smell and the feel of it, and this has got it!

Lemongrass Walnut Scrub by Studio Aroma

This revitalizing body scrub with refined texture that improves skin vibrancy and your senses with polishing walnut shell powder and a light, refreshing essential oil blend of lemongrass, mimosa, and litsea. Botanically derived cleansing agents of algae and rice extracts, also help delivers perceivable firming properties as well as substantive hydration and moisturizing benefits.

I’ve raved about this scrub before, but I absolutely LOVE it. After cleansing, I use this scrub about 2-3 times a week. I leave it on for about 3-5 minutes and then wash away, and my skin always feels super soft and smells really good! It feels like your rubbing coffee grains on your face, and this can also be used for rough areas on the body as well.

Linne Repair Oil

Massage 1 pump of REPAIR into face and neck to moisturize, help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars, protect against environmental stress, encourage cellular regeneration and support collagen production.

Another product that I have simply RAVED about in the past. I use this repair face oil every single day after my face routine. I kept it simple tonight with only 3 products but sometimes I get extravagant and use up to 8-10 products; this always comes last. My skin has honestly never felt so soft and moisturized, and although this face oil is up there in terms of price, it really is worth it.

Hair Essentials

Novex Argan Oil

Novex Argan Oil Deep Conditioning Hair Mask is an enhanced treatment to restore shine and smoothness on hair without frizz or split ends. This product is enriched with pure Argan Oil and Vitamin E.

I’ve recently started using these masks a lot more than usual and have seen stellar results. You can either use this as a regular conditioner for 3 minutes every time you wash your hair, or as a hair treatment left on for 15 minutes. I wash my hair first at the beginning of my shower and then get this treatment on and leave it on while I continue with the rest of my routine. My hair has been much noticeably softer!

Marrakesh Oil-Argan Hemp Oil Therapy

Our powerful blend of nutrient-rich Argan Oil, from Morocco, and ultra fortifying Hemp Seed Oil significantly improves hair condition and texture. Leaves hair feeling silky smooth with a healthy, frizz free, glossy shine. Cuts drying time in half.

This product works wonders! I use it in my hair every time I wash it (every 3-4 days) and I typically just use it on the ends. This time, I used it after the deep conditioning hair mask. I love it because my hair has never felt so full and rich.

*SIDE NOTE– I also try to only blow dry/straighten my hair once a week to reduce the heat that my hair is exposed to.

Wellness Essentials

Sealuxe Cedar+Pine+Birch Candle

Natural eco-soy and coconut blend wax candle scented with pure essential oils and natural fragrance.

After an evening of pampering with my favourite products, I like to either read or watch a favourite show with a candle right by my side. I have attempted to make the switch from store-bought candles to naturally soy-made candles with essential oils and natural fragrances, that way I know I’m not emitting toxicity into the air and I know exactly where my candle came from.

What’s your nighttime pampering routine that makes you happy? Do you use candles, or certain beauty essentials that make your night that much better?
