Mapleblume Beauty Subscription Box Review

There are A LOT of subscription boxes on the market today-it’s nearly impossible to select one that you like because there’s always going to be another one that has something better, is cheaper, etc. There are also subscription boxes that are more popular than others, which makes the task of selecting the right one even more strenuous and difficult. When selecting subscription boxes to review, I like to try out popular ones but I also have fallen in love with supporting small businesses-especially Canadian ones- that don’t have their name out there too much yet.

I came across Mapleblume after searching for beauty boxes but I felt as if I was finding the same thing over and over again-makeup boxes that came with mostly sample sized products and the odd hair product, but that didn’t really seem to be worth my money. I was thrilled when I came across Mapleblume and read about the company’s desire to release a luxury Canadian beauty box with high quality makeup and skincare products. I also highly respected reading the story behind the box, as the sisters who created Mapleblume had decided to leave their careers to pursue the creation of this subscription box- showing extreme dedication.

I was sent this box for review purposes, all opinions and pictures taken are my own.

The Box

You will receive a brand new box filled with a minimum of 5 premium skincare and cosmetic products every other month. The company prides themselves on finding the best skincare and beauty products to fill this box with, so you know that you’re getting the best of the best.

The Price

This box arrives on a semi-monthly basis (every other month) and it costs $120.00 per box with no need to reorder. If you don’t want a subscription but you just want to try out the box once, you can order a one-time purchase which is $140.00

The Package

This is hands down the most beautiful packaging I have EVER received for a subscription box. I usually don’t pay too much attention to the packaging as I have always believed that the products are most important, but it is made quite clear that the company wants people to see the luxury this box has to offer. It opens easily with a magnetic portion in the front for an easy open and close, and is wrapped in a lovely tissue paper and finished with a cute flower sticker.
